Who Was James Woods?
James Wood is a teen from Streets boro city school. James was just 17 years old when he passed away and he passed away on the 19th of November 2022, Saturday. James took his own life and he was also dealing with stress and depression. The parents of James wanted to spread their word and focus on their motive of making people aware to take care of their child. They want to make sure that people around them take care of their children and they boldly and openly shared their side of the story and their son’s side of the story as well. As per the reports James was a victim of Sextortion and he took his life because of it.

James was also a member of the cross-country team as well. James’s parents, Tamia wood and timothy Wood added that they want people to know what they went through so that they should keep an eye on their children and also check on their social and mental health as well. James’s parents added that they want people to be aware of their child’s story so that someone should not witness the same thing and that they should protect their children from the online scandals that is happening and from the predators who target such innocent children like James and also protect their children from taking such a tragic step that their child did.

In this case, the criminals blackmail the victim to send more of their private videos, and to perform as they say. They threaten the victim that they would leak the video or private picture that they possess of the victim and make them do what they want. As per the reports, James as well as a victim of sextortion, and he was also asked to send nudes and private videos and pictures of himself by the suspects. Until now there are no reports of the suspect and their names have not been revealed. James’s parents want people around them to be aware that there are people of such nature who want their children to be naked in front of them and would threaten their children. Woods family want people to know that there are people who threaten teens with their nudes and would threaten their life, so taking care of their children and also checking their children’s social media accounts is what they want the parents to do. James’s parents want that parents to take care of their children and talk to them about such issues if they are going through them, it is a bold step taken by the Woods family in order to warn parents o such disasters happening online these days.
