But eventually lost the long-fought battle against cancer.

In August, NeNe addressed during birthday party The Linnethia, at her lounge in Atlanta, Georgia, and shockingly shared that Gregg was losing his battle against cancer. “My husband is transitioning to the other side,” she said. She further mentioned that “So, when people approach and say, ‘You’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,’ my husband is at home dying,” she continued. “I don’t want to say, ‘Happy birthday,’ OK?
