All these arrests happened in the ISRO spy case in the year 1994. Hassan perished on Wednesday at the age of 80. She took her last breath in Sri Lanka where she was taking treatment for her disease, however, she lost her life and left this world. She was an actor who performed several significant roles in TV dramas and movies in her native place Male. Due to her brilliant acting skills, she became a common name in the state of Kerala in India. But she gained notoriety after she detains on spying charges in the year 1994. The police of Kerala detained her along with her pal named Maria Rasheeda on 11th November 1994.

The authorities who were handling the case blamed them that both were spies who were hired to give the defence information to the country of Pakistan and asserted that were funded by the banker of Maldivian. Cops asserted both gave the name of Nambi Narayanan, who was a scientist of ISRO and according to them Nambi was also engaged in the spying case. All the 3 criminals faces the charges of spying and remained in the prison for 3 years. Though the late actress always stated that she did not know anything about Nambi Narayanan until she was detained in a spying case. She state all these things during an interview she gave in the year 2017.

She claimed that the police of Kerala and The Intelligence Bureau (IB) forced her to take the name of Nambi. The late actress further stated that in fact she watched the ISRO scientist for the first time in the custody of CBI and had never encountered Raman Srivastava who was the ex-police chief of Kerala. Srivastava’s name was also under the scanner of investigation officers. She informed the publication that she was forced to accept many things that the investigation officers claimed after they brought her daughter who was 14 years old at that time prior to her and menaced her to [email protected] her in front of her eyes.
